The Santorini mattress offers excellent moisture absorption and ventilation. If you get warm quickly at night, this mattress is an absolute must! In addition, this mattress is allergy-friendly and therefore ideal for people with a dust mite allergy.
The mattress is designed for a load of up to 120 kg per person and is approx. 25 cm high. The core of the mattress is filled with 18 cm pocket springs and covered with cold foam. The outer fabric that holds the filling in place is known as the cover.
The cover of this mattress is made of Cooltouch, a high-tech material made of specially developed polyester fibre. This makes the cover moisture-regulating, breathable, allergy-friendly and extremely comfortable.
The great advantage of a pocket spring mattress is that the body support can be optimally regulated. The more springs per square metre, the better the support. This mattress has 300 springs per square metre and therefore offers medium to firm lying comfort. The pocket spring core mattress is characterised by a core of individually packed steel springs. These springs are packed in envelopes that are glued together. This allows the springs to move independently of each other and gives you the best support for your body's pressure points.
Cold foam is particularly popular due to its pressure-relieving properties. The heavier parts of the body, such as the hips and shoulders, sink deeper into the mattress than the rest of the body. This keeps the spine straight and optimises blood circulation. Cold foam is also breathable and absorbs moisture extremely well. This mattress has a 3 cm thick cold foam layer at the top and bottom. Another major advantage of this material is its high adaptability. The mattress adapts to the body in such a way that sufficient support is provided exactly where it is needed. Cold foam also offers the best progressive counter-pressure (the more the foam is pressed in, the more counter-pressure is generated).
