Depending on the furniture, lounge cushions consist of seat cushions, back cushions or a combination of both. For pallet sofas, corner lounges and modular garden furniture, several cushions can be configured individually and combined in matching colors. This is especially practical for L-shaped lounges, corner elements or seating areas with different depths and widths.

Even if individual lounge elements have different dimensions, each cushion can be created separately: for example, one long seat cushion for the main surface, a shorter corner cushion, several back cushions or round lounge cushions for stools and additional seating areas. This creates lounge upholstery that fits your furniture exactly.

Lekoni® lounge cushions are available exclusively as custom-made products. Each cushion is produced to your exact desired dimensions. Configure your lounge cushions directly in the Lekoni® configurator:

• Shape: square, rectangular, trapezoid or round. Trapezoid lounge cushions are suitable for tapered seating surfaces. Different shapes can be combined within the same lounge set.
• Material: Panama, Mali, faux leather or premium faux leather B1/B2. All covers are fitted with a zipper and are fully removable.
• Color: depending on the fabric collection, many color shades are available. The current selection is shown directly in the configurator.
• Cushion thickness: choose between 6 cm and 8 cm. 6 cm offers a slimmer look, while 8 cm is the more comfortable option with higher seating comfort.
• Foam: high-quality foam with density 35 and compression hardness 5.0 is used – dimensionally stable and durable.
• Dimensions: angular lounge cushions up to 260 × 100 cm, round lounge cushions up to 100 cm diameter. Please measure directly on the lounge furniture, not on an old cushion.
• Measuring guide: illustrated instructions are available in the measuring guide.
• Fastening: fastening ties at the corners are available on request. Alternatively, matching anti-slip matting is available in our accessories range.

Fabric Comparison: Which Fabric Is Right for Your Lounge Cushions?

Lekoni® offers five tested fabric collections with many color variants. All fabrics are available for lounge cushions. The right fabric choice mainly depends on whether the lounge cushions are used indoors, in protected outdoor areas or regularly outdoors.

• Panama: recommended for conservatories, indoor lounges, living areas and permanently protected outdoor areas.
• Mali: recommended for hotel lounges, bar lounges, indoor seating areas and covered outdoor areas.
• Faux leather: recommended for restaurants, hotels, bar lounges and protected outdoor areas with frequent cleaning.
• Premium faux leather B2: recommended for commercial premium use, pool areas, saunas, boat upholstery, bar lounges and regular outdoor use.
• Premium faux leather B1: special solution for areas with required B1 fire protection class.

Premium faux leather B2 is the all-rounder for commercial lounge cushions and regular outdoor use. The material and hygiene properties are high-quality: highly water-repellent, disinfectant-resistant, resistant to oil, blood, urine, sweat, saliva as well as chlorinated and salt water. B2 is classified as normally flammable according to DIN 4102 and is suitable for many premium applications – garden lounges, hotel pools, sauna lounges, bar and restaurant lounges as well as boat upholstery.

Premium faux leather B1 is the special variant for areas with B1 requirements. B1 is flame-retardant according to DIN 4102 and is mainly used where this fire protection class is required by law, project specification or tender – for example in care lounges, clinics, larger public facilities or assembly areas.

Lounge Cushions for Outdoor Use: What You Should Know

For lounge cushions that are used regularly outdoors, we recommend premium faux leather B1 or B2. Both materials are highly water-repellent, lightfast and UV-resistant according to EN ISO 105 B02. For covered outdoor areas such as awnings, pergolas, conservatories, enclosed balconies or protected terraces, Mali and standard faux leather are also suitable depending on the level of use. We mainly recommend Panama for indoor use or permanently protected outdoor areas.

Important note on waterproofness: Lekoni® lounge cushions are not 100 % waterproof. Because the covers are equipped with a removable zipper, complete waterproofness cannot be guaranteed for design reasons – this applies across the industry to lounge cushions with removable covers. Premium faux leather B1/B2 is highly water-repellent and withstands moisture well, but should be stored in a protected place during heavy rain and overnight.

We recommend storing lounge cushions under weather protection, in a cushion storage box or under a suitable protective cover during rain, heavy rain and longer periods of non-use. This helps your lounge cushions retain their shape, color and functionality over the long term.

Custom Pallet Cushions for Pallet Sofas and Euro Pallet Furniture

Lekoni® also manufactures custom pallet cushions for DIY pallet furniture, pallet sofas and Euro pallet constructions. Typical dimensions for pallet cushions are 120 × 80 cm, 120 × 60 cm or individually adapted special sizes. At Lekoni®, angular pallet cushions can be configured up to 260 × 100 cm.

With a cushion thickness of 6 cm or 8 cm, Lekoni® pallet cushions are a precisely fitted and dimensionally stable solution for pallet sofas, outdoor lounges and DIY seating areas. High-quality foam with density 35 and compression hardness 5.0 is used. This keeps the cushions dimensionally stable and durable even with regular use.

Lekoni® pallet cushions are ideal if you are looking for accurately sized, dimensionally stable and color-coordinated cushions with a thickness of 6 cm or 8 cm. For particularly high pallet cushions with a significantly thicker build, a special upholstery solution is required. What is the difference between lounge cushions, chair cushions and bench cushions at Lekoni®?

At Lekoni®, many product groups are made from the same fabric collections. The difference lies mainly in the intended use, format and cushion thickness. Chair cushions are smaller seat pads for classic chairs. Bench cushions are elongated cushions for benches. Lounge cushions are large-format seat and back cushions for lounge furniture, garden lounges, pallet sofas and outdoor seating areas.

Which foam thickness is best for lounge cushions?

Lekoni® lounge cushions are available in 6 cm and 8 cm cushion thickness. 6 cm offers a slimmer, modern look. 8 cm is the more comfortable option and is especially recommended for lounge furniture with a hard substructure, for example pallet sofas, built-in masonry sofas, wooden lounges or fixed garden seating areas. Foam with density 35 and compression hardness 5.0 is used.

What are the maximum dimensions for lounge cushions?

Lekoni® manufactures angular lounge cushions up to a maximum size of 260 × 100 cm and round lounge cushions up to 100 cm diameter. This also makes it possible to furnish large lounge modules, corner elements, pallet sofas and seating areas. For very large surfaces, it is often advisable to combine several individual cushions. This makes cleaning, storage and later replacement of individual cushions easier.

Can I configure seat cushions and back cushions for my lounge separately?

Yes, you can configure seat cushions and back cushions separately. This is especially useful for modular lounge furniture, pallet sofas, corner lounges and seating areas with different dimensions. Seat surfaces, backrests and corner elements can therefore be combined to fit perfectly.

Can I order lounge cushions for pallet sofas or Euro pallet furniture from Lekoni®?

Yes, Lekoni® manufactures pallet cushions made to measure. Typical pallet cushion dimensions are 120 × 80 cm, 120 × 60 cm or individual special sizes up to 260 × 100 cm. The 6 cm and 8 cm cushion thicknesses are suitable for precisely fitted, dimensionally stable pallet cushions with removable covers and a wide fabric selection.

Which fabric is right for my lounge cushion?

Panama is especially suitable for indoor lounges, conservatories and permanently protected outdoor areas. Mali is a robust choice for more heavily used lounge areas, hotels, restaurants and covered outdoor areas. Faux leather is suitable for bar lounges, hotels, restaurants and areas with frequent cleaning. For regular outdoor use, pool areas, saunas, boat upholstery and commercial premium use, we recommend premium faux leather B2. Premium faux leather B1 is the special variant for areas with required B1 fire protection class.

Are Lekoni® lounge cushions waterproof?

Are the covers of Lekoni® lounge cushions washable?

All covers have a zipper and are fully removable. Panama and Mali covers are machine washable at 30 °C. Faux leather and premium faux leather B1/B2 are wiped clean with a damp cloth. Premium faux leather is also disinfectant-resistant. Detailed care instructions for each fabric can be found in the care instructions.

Do Lekoni® lounge cushions have fastening ties?

Lekoni® lounge cushions can be ordered with fastening ties at the corners on request. This is particularly useful for modular lounge sets if the cushions need to be fixed to the structure. Alternatively, cut-to-size anti-slip matting is available as an accessory and can be placed under the cushion to help prevent slipping.

Can I order fabric samples in advance?

Yes, Lekoni® sends sample cards of the main collections against a deposit. The deposit amount is fully refunded once the sample card has been returned to Lekoni®.

Which lounge cushions are suitable for hotels, restaurants or bar lounges?

For many commercial applications, faux leather or premium faux leather B2 are especially suitable. Both are easy-care and suitable for frequent use. Premium faux leather B2 is also highly water-repellent, disinfectant-resistant and classified according to DIN 4102 B2. Premium faux leather B1 is the special variant for areas with B1 requirements, for example certain public institutions, care areas or assembly venues.

How long does delivery of custom lounge cushions take?

The usual delivery time for Lekoni® lounge cushions is 5 to 10 working days from receipt of order within Germany. For deliveries to other EU countries, usually 1 to 3 days are added. Since every lounge cushion is individually made to measure, there is no traditional stock shipping – every order is produced on request.
